Clinical Scenario : Low back pain is a common condition for the general population with 29% of adults having low within last 3 months. A deadlift described as free weight exercise in which barbell lifted from floor continuous motion by extending knees and hips. For those without pain, was found to have highest muscle activation paraspinal musculature compared other exercises. There are limited number studies that investigate usefulness incorporating deadlifts part rehabilitation program pain. Question: who live an routine includes viable treatment option improve and/or function? Summary Key Findings: The literature search yielded total meeting inclusion exclusion criteria: 1 randomized control trial, secondary analysis cohort study. Exercise programs include can yield improvements both function living but were not be more beneficial than load motor Those lower levels higher baseline lumbar extension strength may most appropriate participate deadlifts.
